​St. Francis of Paola
- April 2nd  (1416 to 1507)
St. Francis of Paola is the founder of the Minim Friars,  meaning ‘the least’ in God’s household.  An austere Italian hermit, his disciples became so numerous and were so dearly loved by the townspeople that they build the young order a church and a monastery.  He is patron of seafarers.

Announcements:
 
The Bible and The Virgin Mary:   Please join us after the 6:30pm Tuesday Evening Mass at the parish office to take part in the faith study. The coming dates for this study are on Tuesdays:  April 2, 9, 23, 30 and May 7, 21, 28.  The topic this Tuesday April 2nd  is “Born of a Virgin”.

A donation box for TIA can be found at the grocery card table, if you are looking for an opportunity for Lenten almsgiving.
 
Replicas of the new stained glass window planned for the Shrine are available for $50.  They can be purchased at the grocery table after mass or at the office.
 
The next two weekends after Easter Sunday, we are not able to have masses  at the school gym due to pre-scheduled events.  Instead we have special masses at St. Mary’s church in Banff.
