This Sunday is World Day of the Poor as proclaimed by Pope Francis.  Our own St. Vincent de Paul Society is asking for donations for our struggling neighbours in Canmore.  Please consider giving.
 
The Catholicism Series is ongoing at the Parish Office on Tuesday evenings at the conclusion of the 6:30pm Mass.  All are welcome to attend.  This week’s topic is  “Liturgy and the Eucharist”.
 
The silent auction for Robin Hemsing’s stain glass Madonnas and Crosses, made with glass from Sacred Heart Church, will continue until 12:00 noon on Sunday, December 11th when bidding will be closed.
 
This year’s Ecumenical Advent Service is held at St. Michael’s Anglican Hall on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 7:00 pm.  If you plan on attending, please consider bringing baking cookies/squares for the social afterward.
 
The November Book of Remembrance for the faithful departed can be found by the entrance of the gym.  Please write the names of your beloved dead.

The coordinators are looking for more volunteers for the Food and Friends Community Supper held each Monday night at St. Michael’s church hall.  Our group volunteers for approximately eight nights throughout the year.  For further information on how you could help out please contact:   Marie Behm     embehm@telus.net       or

November 21st is Red Wednesday, a day dedicated to persecuted Christians.  We will wear red at mass and dedicate the rosary to persecuted Christians.
 
We are having the Novena of Early Morning Masses (complete with potluck breakfasts) at 7:00 am at Windtower, 160 Kananaskis Way, from December 17 to 21st.
